Shop Manager and Detailer

Location: South Anchorage Shop Site
Schedule: Part-Time | 6:00 AM – 8:00 PM (10 Hours/Week)

Compensation: Competitive Base Pay + Performance Bonuses

Role Overview

We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated Lead Fleet Detailer to oversee the care and presentation of our tour fleet. You will be responsible for maintaining about a dozen mid-to-high roof passenger vans, ensuring they meet our premium standards for guest comfort and safety. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working independently but can effectively lead a small team of 1–2 junior detailers.

Key Responsibilities

Fleet Cleaning: Perform thorough interior and exterior cleaning, including washing, vacuuming, dusting, wiping down surfaces, and window cleaning.

Team Leadership: Coordinate daily workloads and supervise 1–2 junior detailers to ensure efficiency and quality.

Maintenance Coordination: Monitor vehicle health (e.g., tire pressure management), document maintenance reports, and schedule rotating deep-clean sessions.

Inventory & Logistics: Manage cleaning supplies and materials, and handle the laundering of hand towels and microfiber cloths.

Scheduling: Adapt to fluctuating seasonal needs, managing a schedule that ranges from light daily upkeep to intensive peak-season rotations.

Requirements & Physical Demands

Independence: Ability to work with minimal supervision while remaining a proactive member of the larger operations team.

Stamina: Capacity to stand, walk, stoop, and crouch for repetitive cleaning tasks on large passenger vehicles.

Strength: Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Detail-Oriented: A "sharp eye" for cleanliness to ensure our guests have a five-star experience from the moment they step into the van.
